Site work for a civil project in Miami, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.

The Florida Department of Transportation District Six has issued this Request for Proposal (RFP) to solicit competitive Bids and Proposals from Proposers for the replacement of freeway, express, and arterial Dynamic Message Signs (DMS) and associated equipment, and the replacement of a permanent generator at a communication Hub building. The Department seeks a Design-Build Firm to design, procure, install, test, integrate, and provide training on multiple DMS and associated equipment and a permanent generator at multiple locations throughout the district. Project work shall be performed as follows: o Replace a permanent generator and fuel tank at the Miami Gardens Phase II Hub building. o Replace 1 express lane DMS and associated infrastructure on Interstate 95 (I-95). o Replace 5 freeway DMS and associated infrastructure on State Road 826 (S.R. 826) and Interstate 75 (I-75). o Replace 4 arterial DMS and associated infrastructure on S.R. 860, S.R. 932, and S.R. 886. Project sites are listed in Table 1. This table only provides a high-level summary of the major activities that need to be conducted in the field and is not intended to be a comprehensive list of requirements. The DesignBuild Firm shall refer to all applicable sections of this RFP, the Concept Plans, and all Contract Documents, for completing all the required Project work All questions shall be submitted to the Pre-Bid Q&A website. 03/27/2026
