The contract involves a security upgrade at Building A47, 5 CDSB Gagetown, a health care facility. The building includes a single storey original section recently renovated and a two storey addition constructed prior to that renovation. Construction of new partitions with access controlled doors. Modification of existing doors and hardware with the addition of access controls. Supply and installation of new glazed partitions. Supply and installation of a new video surveillance system and cameras. Supply and installation of new exterior lighting. Commissioning and placing into service of all noted systems. The building consists of a single-storey original section that has been recently renovated and a two-storey addition constructed prior to renovating the original section. 1 The CCTV system is to consist of the following components: Network cameras, HD Video Appliance, network switches, equipment racks, security workstation, keyboard and mouse, all required licensing for hardware and software. .2 Connect network cameras to the HD video appliance with PoE via Cat 6 Ethernet cable. Program the HD video appliance to receive video from all cameras. All cameras will have their video recorded on the HD video appliance. .3 The CCTV system must be compatible with a Genetec or similar industry compatible standard.
