Site work for a water / sewer project in Lockport, Louisiana. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project includes furnishing and installing two new 20 Hp rapid mixers, a 1 ton manual chain hoist and trolley, removal of existing mixers and associated appurtenances, and electrical work. All work must be completed within 220 calendar days from the issuance of Notice to Proceed. All bids must be accompanied by bid security of five percent (5.0%) of the sum of the base bid and all alternates, in the specified form stated in the Instructions to Bidders. The successful bidder is required to furnish a Performance and Payment Bond as described in the Instructions to Bidders. Bids will be accepted only from contractors licensed for Municipal and Public Works Construction. Bids may not be withdrawn for 45 days after receipt, except as provided by law. The owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause. No pre-bid conference will be held for this project.
