The Project generally includes improvements to the District's wastewater treatment plant and a new recycled water storage and distribution system. The Project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals to performing all work. The Project has an expected duration of 165 working days. Responses to questions will be provided by Tuesday February 24, 2026 by 5:00PM. Instructions to Bidders All bids must include a bid security for at least ten percent (10%) of the total bid price including any additive items, which may be in the form of cash, a certified or cashier's check, or a bidder's bond. Pursuant to Cal. Bus. & Prof. Code sec. 7059, Bidder shall have a California Contractor's License Class "AGeneral Engineering". Doc note: The designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither District nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website. The District reserves the right to reject any and all bids and/or to waive any bid irregularity to the extent permitted by law. If the District elects to award a contract for performance of the project, the contract will be to the lowest responsible bidder. All bids shall remain valid for sixty (60) days after the bid opening.
