The successful Contractor(s) must be licensed in Texas and shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, tools, and supervision necessary for plumbing services including routine maintenance, preventative maintenance, service, repair, replacement, retro-fitting, alteration, upgrade, and new installation of plumbing systems in all buildings as needed. Contractors are sought for a preferred list with expertise in this field for the following, but not limited to: on call workload needs, typical small and/or planned plumbing work, and potentially large scale capital work. SCOPE OF WORK The contractor shall furnish all work, services, materials, and related items necessary to complete the work specified. The work includes, but is not limited to, the following: o Work of this Contract shall be comprised of year-round plumbing inspection, installation, repair, and maintenance as relating to plumbing services of VHA properties. o Leak detection and repair o Sewer and drain cleaning services, clog removal, grime cleaning o Toilet repair and/or replacement o Water heater repair and/or installation, o Laundry plumbing repair and/or installation, pipe installation and/or replacement o Faucet/sink repair and/or installation o Shower component and fixture replacement, o Storm drains repair, gas line installation and repair o Tree root removal from sewer drain lines o Winterization of plumbing pipes o Replacement and repair of burst pipes o Residential Plumbing emergencies o New construction
