Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Norwalk, Ohio. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel.
Sealed bids are invited for the Sand Hill Road Bridge Replacement Project. Bids must be submitted to the Huron County Commissioner's Office at 180 Milan Avenue, Suite 7, Norwalk, Ohio 44857. Bid documents, including contract terms and conditions, must be obtained from the Huron County Engineer at 150 Jefferson Street, Norwalk, Ohio 44857, for a non-refundable fee. An additional fee applies for shipping. Each bidder must provide a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code, issued by a Surety Company licensed in Ohio. Each proposal must include the full names of all parties submitting the proposal and evidence of experience on projects of similar size and complexity. All bidders must comply with prevailing wage rates for Public Improvements in Huron County as determined by the Ohio Department of Commerce. Bid documents must be obtained from the Huron County Engineer and submitted bound in their entirety. The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to waive irregularities and reject any or all bids.
