The work includes engineering design and permitting services for flood mitigation and bank stabilization along the Passaic River at Daniel Morris Park, which will include the construction of a new bulkhead, rip-rap or gabion wall, reconstruction of an existing boat ramp, reconstruction of an existing outfall and headwall, fencing, landscaping and lawn restoration, and other incidental site improvements. Responses must be made on Standard Proposal Forms in the manner designated and required, must be enclosed in sealed envelopes bearing the name and address of the responder and project name, and be addressed to the Borough Clerk. Signatures must be in ink and in longhand. Responders must comply with relevant Affirmative Action, Equal Opportunity, and Local Public Contracts Law requirements. Proof of business registration must be provided by all consultants and subconsultants, and required notices must be given throughout all project tiers. Consultants must collect and remit NJ sales and use tax as applicable. All responses shall be irrevocable for sixty days, and the Borough reserves the right to reject any or all responses or waive informalities. The project is partially funded by the NJ Department of Community Affairs Community Development Block Grant - Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR), and consultants must be registered with SAM.gov and comply with CDBG-DR requirements. Small, Minority, and Women's Business Enterprises are encouraged to participate. Daniel Morris Park is located along the east bank of the Passaic River from the Firehouse (Hose Company 1) approximately 275 feet north to Columbus Park. Daniel Morris Park is bordered by River Road to east.
