The project involves furnishing all paint, materials, labor, and a custom stencil on a 50ft x 80ft basketball court. The court will receive one primer coat of True flex filler, one coat of True flex topcoat (Blue), with striping applied to match regulation basketball court standards (white). From hoop to free throw line, a grey rectangle box is to be painted. The Norton Shores logo will be painted at center court in blue and orange. Proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked "Parks and Recreation Project" to the City Clerk's Office by the specified deadline. Each firm agrees not to withdraw its proposal for ninety days from the date of proposal opening. The contract award will consider the firm’s experience with similar projects, personnel qualifications, ability to meet the work schedule, completeness of work plan and project approach, and other factors deemed appropriate by the City Council. The City reserves the right to reject proposals, waive informalities or non-conformities, award the contract in what it deems the best interest, and negotiate with the selected proponent. The final decision will be made solely by the City Council.
