Demolition, site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Norton Shores, Michigan. Completed plans call civil work for a road / highway, sidewalk / parking lot and water / sewer project.
The project consists of culvert replacement, placement of HMA pavement, milling, placement of aggregate, appurtenances, and miscellaneous related items including but not limited to utility adjustments, signage, pavement markings, ADA ramps, sidewalk, curb and gutter, and drainage structures. This project shall be coordinated to be performed simultaneously with a separate project, "2026 Hot-in Place Pavement Recycling" of the same roadways. It shall be the responsibility of the Contractors to coordinate their work on the other concurrent project. Construction shall be in accordance with the Michigan Department of Transportation 2020 Standard Specifications for Construction. The project shall be completed by October 16, 2026. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing via email only to Joel Spriegel at joel.spriegel@spicergroup.com. All email questions must be received by 5:00 PM on Wednesday, May 20, 2026.
