Remodeling of a fire / police facility in Norton Shores, Michigan. Completed plans call for the remodel of a fire / police facility.
The work consists of supplying materials and installing three new 12’2” wide by 12’ high overhead garage doors for the Norton Shores Police Department, including electric garage door openers. Minimum specifications for the doors include: black color, full-view insulated glass in section 5, minimum R-value 9.1, tongue and groove section joints with silicone-filled thermal break, perimeter weather seals (bottom, sides, top), 2” thick roll-formed stucco embossed steel, commercial hinges and rollers, and 10,000+ cycle springs. Openers must have motors rated for 700lb doors, 115V 1PH, smooth start and stop, safety reversing eye, smart 3-button wall control, and built-in Wi-Fi connectivity. All work must be completed by a certified contractor, with all required permits to be obtained by the vendor. The cost of permits will be covered by the City. Bids must be submitted as an invoice or official estimate in a sealed envelope clearly marked for the project. The City of Norton Shores reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids. Submission of a bid does not guarantee award of the project.
