The County Road (771) Project is located in Boulder County. Please see the attached maps. The County Road project work includes safeguarding at total of twenty-seven (27) features; seventeen (17) new features, three (3) maintenance features and seven (7) non-guaranteed features utilizing a variety of closure methods. A summary of the included features by closure method is listed below: Machine Backfill 19 Culvert with Bat Grate 1 Bat Grate 6 Brasscap Installation 1 Total 27 The mine closure locations are found on both public and private lands. ACCESS TO SEVERAL LOCATIONS IS DIFFICULT AND INVOLVES LIMITED MACHINE ACCESS, CLIMBING UP AND DOWN STEEP SLOPES AND TRAVERSING LONG OFF-ROAD/TRAIL DISTANCES. Prospective Offerors may make written inquiries concerning the DQ to obtain clarification of requirements. Inquiries may be submitted to the Single Point of Contact via email by Friday, March 6, 2026 at 4:00 pm. The project will not begin until all DRMS contracting agreements have been executed. The project is scheduled for construction between Monday, May 18, 2026 and Friday, July 31, 2026. This includes ten (10) calendar days mobilization time. These dates are tentative and may change. The time of completion allowed for the project is seventy-five (75) calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. This includes ten (10) calendar days mobilization time. SDVOSBs, who are incorporated or organized in Colorado or maintain a place of business or have an office in Colorado and who are officially registered and verified as a SDVOSB by the Center for Veteran Enterprise within the U.S. Small Business Administration may receive a 5% preference on their bid.
