This project includes the removal of existing gaseous chlorine and batch day tank chlorination systems and the installation of a new calcium hypochlorite tablet feeder system at the Mill Creek Water Treatment Plant (MCWTP), located in a high-alpine environment serving the Town of Telluride. MCWTP is a 1-mgd drinking water treatment facility utilizing conventional pretreatment followed by membrane filtration. The facility operates under two CDPHE-approved disinfection segments.
