Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Blue Springs, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a road / highway; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The scope of work includes improvements to East Wyatt Road within the City of Blue Springs and provides for pavement preparation, asphalt overlay, concrete curb and gutter, concrete sidewalks, concrete driveways, concrete pavement, storm sewer improvements, street lighting, pavement striping, traffic control and other incidental items and work described in the Project Manual, or reasonably inferable therefrom. Bidders are required to request the bid documents by email, providing company name, contact person and phone number, company address, and an email address to be added to the Plan Holders List and to receive official bidding communications and addenda. Hard copies of the bid documents will not be available for purchase. Bidders may print copies of the documents at their own expense. Project and bidding questions must be submitted via email by the specified deadline; no written questions after this date or any verbal questions will be recognized. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of five percent of the bid amount. Wage rates have been predetermined as required by law. The successful bidder must submit a sworn affidavit and documentation affirming enrollment and participation in the federal work authorization program and that all employees are not illegal immigrants. Bidders must comply with the requirements of the President's Executive Order Number 11246. Upon signing the contract, the contractor and any subcontractor must provide a ten-hour OSHA construction safety program for on-site employees. The contract will be awarded to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder, but the Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive any irregularities in its best interest.
