Site work and new construction of a transportation facility in Greenville, Michigan. Completed plans call for the construction of a one-room transportation facility; three-room transportation facility; and for site work for a transportation facility.

To be given consideration, questions or comments must be received by addressee at least seven (7) days prior to the date fixed for opening of bids. There is a Disadvantage Business Enterprise (DBE) participation goal of 3.0% for this project. Goals for minority participation for each trade: 3.0% Goals for female participation in each trade: 3.0% The proposed work includes the following: construction of a 3-unit t-hangar with electric bi-fold doors on an existing concrete foundation and other miscellaneous electrical work and pavement marking. There is a bid alternate to add one additional hangar unit including electrical work and construct approximately 140 cubic yards of excavation and embankment, 600 square yards of aggregate base material, 35 tons of hot mix asphalt, 1,200 square feet of concrete floor and foundation, 600 square yards of restoration and other miscellaneous items. A bid alternate is included to add one additional hangar unit, which encompasses associated electrical work, approximately 140 cubic yards of excavation and embankment, 600 square yards of aggregate base material, 35 tons of hot mix asphalt, 1,200 square feet of concrete floor and foundation, 600 square yards of restoration, and other miscellaneous items. Bidders must provide evidence of qualification as required and, if necessary, utilize prequalified subcontractors for designated item classifications. There is a Disadvantage Business Enterprise (DBE) participation goal of 3.0%. A bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check equal to five percent (5%) of the total price is required. The selected contractor must execute the contract and provide required materials within fifteen (15) calendar days after receiving contract and bond forms, or the proposal guaranty will be forfeited. Each bidder must carefully examine the site and all project requirements. The City of Greenville reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to award the contract to the most responsive and responsible bidder.
