Renovation of a mixed-use development in York, Nebraska. Completed plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center; and swimming pool.
Sealed bids are invited for a project titled "Community Center Pool Area Vapor Barrier" located in York, Nebraska. Bidders are directed to submit proposals for this specific project. Questions must be submitted no later than 02/10/2026. Questions must be submitted no later than ALL QUESTIONS MUST BE SUMMITTED BY EMAIL TO THE FOLLOWING PERSON : Chuck Starbuck , Project Manager , cstarbuck@cityofyork.ne.gov Questions submitted after that date will not be considered . Provide interior SPF insulation o Mask off adjacent surfaces to prevent over-spray Windows, doors, flooring, ceiling o Install average of 2.5 inches of prayed polyurethane foam to North wall, closed vent areas and utility room area off of 2nd floor balcony area Foam shall be Closed Cell o Spray apply white coatings to foam surface at 1.3 gallons per square ft o Clean up excess foam, masking tape, paper and properly dispose of such material o Contractor must adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and Nebraska Department of Water, Energy & Environment/EPA environmental guidelines Provide Repair Work o Caulk seams and penetrations on approximately 78 ft on south wall in pool area on 2nd floor balcony area o Clean work area and properly dispose of debris Change orders must be submitted for any deviation of work that affects the bid cost submitted by contractor. Change orders must be approved by a representative of the City of York, prior to work be completed.
