Sealed bids are requested for work located at Long Island DDSO, 206 Oxhead Road, Centereach, New York, 11720, identified as Project Number 3778709999, Oxhead Road Replacement, CR8 General Construction. The scope of this project consists of the full depth reconstruction of 1,200 linear feet of road at the Long Island Disability Service Office located at 206 Oxhead Road in Centereach, New York. The Project includes full reconstruction of concrete curbs, sidewalks and handicap ramps. Ancillary work includes tree removal, fencing, seeding and storm structure cleaning. Due to the nature of the facility, a temporary driveway entrance is required to ensure construction occurs in two phases, while maintaining continuous emergency vehicle access. Refer to Section 011400 for work restrictions and phasing. Each bid must be identified with the name and address of the bidder and designated as a bid for the specified project. Bids must comply with submittal instructions regarding labeling and delivery. Only those bids in the hands of DASNY at the designated time will be considered. In-person attendance at pre-bid meetings or openings requires government-issued photo identification. All bid openings will be made available for viewing live via Zoom. Bids shall be publicly opened and read aloud, with results posted online. Prospective bidders are advised that the contract documents for this project include new "GENERAL CONDITIONS for May 1, 2018 CONSTRUCTION" dated June 17, 2021, with significant revisions from prior versions. Bidders are to review these conditions for any potential impact on their bid price prior to submitting.
