Mainline pavement is defined as driving lanesthat are permanent. This provision will use a International Roughness Index (IRI) per segment, as determined by the latest version of the FHWA's software, ProVAL. A pavementsegment is defined as a continuous area of finished pavement, 0.1 mile in length and one (1) lane in width. A partial segment may result from an interruption of the continuous pavement surface. An Area of Localized Roughness (ALR) is a length of pavement with localized roughness that exceeds the corresponding threshold value. Localized roughness is based on a continuous IRI computed over a 25-foot distance. ALR is determined by the latest version of FHWA's software, ProVAL. This work consists of providing electronic data for material weight tickets of all bituminous material delivered to the project. This work also consists of placing an identifying vehicle number on the driver side and the passenger or rear sides of the delivery vehicle. These provisions do not preclude or dismiss any requirement for paper tickets required by the Standard Specifications or other rules and regulations. This work consists of providing and placing reflectorized and non-reflectorized plural-component pavement markings on asphalt concrete (AC) and portland cement concrete (PCC) pavement surfaces. Plural-component pavement markings includes multiple varieties of both fast setting and slow setting hybridized epoxies, modified urethanes/polyacrylates, methylmethacrylates(MMA), polyurea, or any other applicable plural-component materials approved by the Department.
