Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Joint Base Lewis McChord, Washington. Working plans call for the construction of a 22,152-square-foot military facility; for site work for a military facility; and water / sewer project.
Construction of the FY27 Special Operations Forces (SOF) Tactical Equipment Maintenance Facility (TEMF) will include a fire alarm and mass notification system requirement utilizing a Monaco Fire Alarm Transceiver and Fire Panel, including the Monaco D-21 fire alarm radio receiver, or an equal system that can meet the Government's requirements. Fire alarm equipment must comply with Unified Facilities Guide Specifications (UFGS) Section 28 31 76 and be listed by Underwriters Laboratories (UL) or approved by FM Global to ensure quality, suitability, and reliability. The required fire alarm reporting system must be compatible with the existing proprietary Monaco D-21 reporting network and receiver infrastructure. Any proposed equal product must demonstrate the ability to communicate with and maintain the approved reporting configuration of the existing network while meeting applicable UL listing, FM approval, and Buy American and Trade Agreements Act construction material requirements. Interested sources may submit capability statements demonstrating their ability to satisfy these compatibility and performance requirements. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
