The City of Early is soliciting sealed proposals from qualified vendors for the provision of road construction materials to support infrastructure and street maintenance activities associated with TDA Project CDV23-0106. The materials requested include Crushed Aggregate Base Material (Type 1, Grade A) and Hot Mix (Type D), with pricing and availability required for each. Proposers must provide a delivery fee breakdown based on distance and/or volume where applicable and are required to coordinate delivery with the General Contractor to meet the project schedule. The City seeks a pricing structure with flexibility for adjustments due to industry-wide cost volatility; proposals must include a baseline price for each material, a method for documenting future price increases or decreases, and any alternative pricing protection strategies. Each proposal must be sealed, clearly labeled, and received by the deadline. Required proposal information includes firm qualifications, office locations, key personnel contacts, history with the City, public entity experience, and references from governmental clients. Proposals will be evaluated based on pricing (including delivery), ability to deliver in a timely manner, references, qualifications, reputation, reliability, and any past relationship with the City. The City prefers to select a single vendor but reserves the right to award multiple vendors depending on proposals received.
