Award: Craig & Heidt Inc for $612,049.35 Sealed bids in duplicate are invited for furnishing all plant, labor, material, and equipment, and for performing all work required for the construction of pavement rehabilitation for Howell Street, Howell Court, Peach Lane, Greg Street, Short Street, West Davis Street, North Street, and Sears Road in Fort Bend County, Texas. Major items of work include brooming existing crushed aggregate surface, blading edge of existing shoulder, applying 2" thick hot mix hot laid asphaltic concrete, and 6" thick base rehabilitation including black base. Bidders must register on www.CivcastUSA.com to view or download specifications and plans. A bid bond of 5% of the bid, a certified check, bank draft, or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds may be submitted in lieu of the bid bond.
