**As of March 13, 2026, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** Sealed bids are invited from interested and qualified parties for the construction of a storage building at 1500 West Raab Road. The project consists of constructing a post-framed storage building clad with metal roof and wall panels and provided with mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems. Lump sum bids will be received for this project. Work requires compliance with the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, 820 ILCS/.01 et seq. Online access to digital drawings and specifications for the bidding documents can be obtained through the Architect's website. The College reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals or parts thereof. Equal Opportunity Employer. Project Location: 1512 Vermillion Way, Normal, IL 61761 Project Description: Project consists of the construction of a post-framed building with metal roof and wall panels. The scope includes shallow concrete foundations, sectional overhead doors with bollards, personnel door, and trench drains with oil interceptor. Also included are water service with hose bibbs and sill cocks, gas-fired unit heaters, as well as interior and exterior lighting with lighting controls and receptacles. Pavement work will be provided as required to route sewer service connection and provide driveway for sectional overhead doors. Existing gas and electrical services between the existing physical plant building and the existing storage building shall be relocated, and the site shall be regraded and reseeded as required. Contract Time: (155) one hundred fifty-five consecutive calendar days A. Pending receipt of the Notice to Proceed, the Contractor will have access to the site no earlier than 7:00am on April 15, 2026. B. We, the undersigned bidder, will fully complete all Work by 5:00pm on September 16, 2026.
