As of March 02 2026, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The scope of work includes the removal and replacement of Adult/Senior Fitness Equipment and Surfacing by certified equipment and surfacing contractors. The Contractor is responsible for the removal and installation of PIP surfacing and a series of fitness features (provided by the city), and associated construction of the Adult/Senior Fitness Area. All work shall be performed as indicated on the specifications and include every aspect of work as obvious or implied and necessary to make the work complete and fully operational, as well as other incidental items and work described in the project manual, or reasonably inferable therefrom. Bidders must request bid documents by email and provide company details to be added to the Plan Holders List to receive addenda. Printed copies of the documents may be made at the bidder's expense. All project and bidding questions must be submitted by email by the stated deadline. A bid security of five percent (5%) of the bid amount must accompany each bid. The successful bidder must submit a sworn affidavit confirming enrollment in the federal work authorization program and that all employees are not illegal immigrants. Upon signing the contract, the contractor and any subcontractor must provide a ten-hour OSHA construction safety program for on-site employees within sixty days of beginning work. Businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals are encouraged to submit bids and will not face discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, creed, sex, age, ancestry, or national origin.
