Demolition and site work for a retail development in Berkeley, Missouri. Completed plans call for the demolition of a 1,624-square-foot retail development; and 21,054-square-foot retail development.
Sealed bids are invited for the demolition and site improvement of the following commercial structures: 8500 Airport Road (21,054 sq. ft.) and 8410 Airport Road (1,624 sq. ft.) in Berkeley, Missouri. The project is contingent upon City Council approval and is scheduled to start in summer/July 2026. This is a prevailing wage project, requiring compliance with Missouri's Prevailing Wage Law. Bids must be submitted on the City Bid Form in a sealed envelope clearly marked as 'DEMOLITION OF CERTAIN COMMERCIAL STRUCTURES' BID #963. Bidders are required to be Equal Employment Opportunity Employers and must include an Affirmative Action Statement with their submission. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or combinations thereof, and to waive any minor irregularities. Specifications and bid forms are available at the City Clerk’s Office.
