Bids are being accepted for annual plumbing services for units located in Jonesboro and Imboden, Arkansas. The successful bidder is required to carry Workman's Compensation Insurance for all employees and those of subcontractors, as well as general liability and automobile insurance. All prospective bidders must submit a written “Section 3” Action Plan indicating their intent to comply with the Section 3 Plan. Contractors must comply with applicable wage rates as set out by HUD, and ensure nondiscrimination in employment practices. The contractor is responsible for obtaining all necessary permits and licenses for work. The authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any information in the bidding. Bids may be held for up to thirty days for review and investigation of bidder qualifications before awarding the contract.
