Question Deadline 02/06/2026 at 4:30 PM CT Questions must be submitted via written communication only to purchasing@bentonvillear.com. The deadline to submit questions related. The work involves performing two point repairs on the City's 48-inch potable water transmission main. This includes all excavation, removal and disposal of defective piping, installation of new piping and associated parts, backfilling, and restoration of the work area to its original elevation and condition. Shutdown of the line, as well as filling and recommissioning, will be performed by the City. All new piping, fittings, and appurtenances will be provided by the City. This project will coincide with the tie-in phase of the 48-inch relocation as part of the Highway 112 ARDOT widening project and will be subject to that project's schedule for the City of Bentonville Water Department. Bids must be accompanied by a bid guarantee in the form of a bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check in the amount of 5% of the total bid price, payable without condition to the City of Bentonville. Personal and company checks are not acceptable. The awarded bidder will be required to furnish performance and payment bonds at the time of signing the contract in amounts equal to the total bid price. Bidders must adhere to all bonding requirements as specified. Attendance at a pre-bid meeting is optional but highly encouraged. The city reserves the right to cancel the request, reject any bid received, and waive irregularities as it deems in its best interest. All bids must adhere to submission requirements and deadlines, including a complete bid submission with the required bid bond. Questions must be submitted in writing as specified. The Bipartisan Infrastructure Law applies to all construction materials. The City encourages participation from qualified small, minority-owned, and women-owned business enterprises.
