The scope of work is for Lawn Care and Snow Removal Services for Bentonville School District. The contract will be for one year, with the possibility of up to four 1-year renewals upon mutual agreement. Services include maintenance across 24 school campuses (13 elementary schools, five middle schools, four junior high schools, and two high schools), as well as additional district buildings and sites such as administration buildings, technology centers, maintenance/warehouse complexes, transportation and student services centers, preschools, alternative learning centers, Ignite facilities, and Wolf Park bicycle trail (including mowing and removal of fallen trees and limbs). There are also large land tracts that require brush-hogging or may be managed with separate hay-leases, with open acreage pasture areas to be negotiated at contract signing. Instructions to bidders include: Proposals must be submitted to the specified address by 2:00 p.m. on January 30, 2026, and be signed by an official authorized to bind the contractor. The proposal must state that it is effective for at least ninety days from submission. The District is not obligated to award a contract or pay proposal preparation costs, reserves the right to accept or reject proposals, negotiate with qualified contractors, waive non-material irregularities or informalities, or cancel the RFP in part or entirely if deemed in the District's best interest. Bidders must not contact the Superintendent, board members, or other employees regarding the proposal until the bidding process is resolved, or risk disqualification.
