Inspect window for square, level, and plumb. a) Provide and install all necessary shims, blocking and framing materials to adjust the fit. b) Secure the new window in the existing opening. 3. Fasten window through jamb, head, and sill and into rough opening with concealed fasteners. 4. Use fasteners with head color matched to window frame material where head will be exposed. 5. Test and adjust for smooth operation of window including locks and tilt mechanism. 6. Ensure weep holes are clear of debris for proper drainage. 7. Caulk interior and exterior perimeter of window frame to adjacent surfaces.
