Work includes bonding, mobilization, erosion control, and seal coating on multiple streets within the City of Parshall, covering approximately 184,664 square yards. Tasks include preparation of street surfaces, protection of concrete pavement, curb & gutter, valley gutters, and water and sewer utilities from seal coat operations; placement of 1,493 square yards of asphalt pavement, 1,493 square yards of aggregate base, 1,493 square yards of geotextile fabric, 130 square feet of concrete valley gutter, and 8,488 linear feet of pavement markings; provision for traffic control and other miscellaneous and incidental items as identified in the construction documents. Alternate 1 consists of bonding, mobilization, and construction of three asphalt patches within the City of Parshall, totaling approximately 500 square yards of asphalt pavement, 500 square yards of aggregate base, 500 square yards of geotextile fabric, 34 square feet of concrete sidewalk, 27 linear feet of concrete curb and gutter, 1 detectable warning panel, and associated traffic control and miscellaneous items. Alternate 2 consists of bonding, mobilization, and construction of two additional asphalt patches, totaling approximately 456 square yards of asphalt pavement, 456 square yards of aggregate base, 456 square yards of geotextile fabric, traffic control, and other associated items. All bids must be based on cash payment for work and materials, accompanied by a Bidder's Bond equal to five percent of the full bid amount, and bidders must be licensed for the highest amount of their bids. Contracts will be awarded to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked with the work covered, name of bidder, a separate envelope with bid bond and a copy of contractor's license or renewal certificate, and acknowledgement of all addenda. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive any informality, hold bids for up to thirty days, and accept the bid most favorable to the City's interest. Bid security will be returned as specified for unsuccessful bidders. The work must be completed and ready for final payment within the timelines specified, with liquidated damages applied for delays. Question Deadline 02/09/2026 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to ENGINEER in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by ENGINEER in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by ENGINEER as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than ten (10) days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
