PURPOSE & BACKGROUND Niagara County is seeking a qualified Contractor to provide and install new low energy swing ADA door operators: Entrematic Model HA9 or equivalent at eight (8) doors located in the Niagara County Department of Health (NCDOH) facility located at 55 Stevens Street, Lockport, NY 14094. SPECIFICATIONS AS REQUIRED BY NIAGARA COUNTY Provide and install new low energy swing ADA door operators. Entrematic Model HA9 or equivalent at eight (8) doors located in the NCDOH facility. 1. Door 1: Public entrance - single doors with glass, (3 openers) 2. Door 3: Employee entrance - double doors with glass, openers on one side, (2 openers) 3. Door 9: Clinic entrance - two doors with glass, (2 openers) 4. Door 8: One single outside door with glass, (1 opener) o Provide and install Activation Accessories; No touch wave to open activation mounted to pole or wall (hard wired preferred). Full install must comply with ADA and ANSI. o Finish: Bronze o Doors with electric strike must be tied into the access system to prevent opening when locked. o To include providing electric service to all openers' locations. o Must include all signage and required labeling, "Caution Automatic Door". o Contractor will be responsible for full install including activation buttons, install and locations. o All work to be installed to manufacturer instructions and specifications. o Provide one year warranty on all labor and material. As a condition precedent to contract award, experience of types of work completed as well as time for completion will be considered. Warranty coverage will be taken into consideration in determining award of bid, if in the best interest of the County.
