You are invited to submit a sealed bid for "MGCCC - Replace Stone Hall Handicap Ramp" at the Perkinston Campus of Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. Single stipulated sum bids will be received for all work required by the Contract Documents in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Instructions to Bidders, Form of Bid, Form of Contract, Form of Contract Bond, Drawings, Specifications and other Contract Documents may be examined at the specified locations. Bid documents are available via hard copy or digital copy. All proposals must be on file with the College prior to the opening time, sealed, and clearly marked as indicated. Electronic bids may be submitted as an option. The Owner reserves the right to waive informalities and to reject any or all bids. Each bidder must deposit with his bid (or upload at Bidder's Option), security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. Performance and Payment Bonds will be required from the successful bidder. Bidders must comply with laws of the State of Mississippi requiring Certificate of Responsibility. Resident contractors will be granted preference over non-residents as provided by law. No bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of opening. Base Bid: 100 Days The project, MGCCC - Replace Stone Hall Handicap Ramp for the Perkinston Campus, Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College as shown on the Contract Documents. 1. This contract will be a the removal of the existing ramp, guards, and adjacent concrete walks; and the installation of a new concrete-filled streel ramp, new guards, and adjacent walks to meet ADA requirements. 2. All temporary barricades, and general protection system for the students, faculty, and public for this portion of the Work. 3. Protection of existing finishes and structures to remain.
