Work consists of the relocation of existing onsite material, installation of granular fill, and the placement of 8 inch thick concrete pavement. Additional scope includes grading of existing onsite material removed from the paved area around the site and an aggregate drive. Bids must be submitted on the Louisiana Uniform Public Works Bid Form furnished with the bidding documents. Bid sheets will be issued only to contractors and/or subcontractors licensed in accordance with the provisions of LA R.S. 37:2150 through 2173. Contractors desiring to bid shall submit their Louisiana Contractors License Number as evidence that they hold a license of the proper classification that is in full force and effect for the work denoted above. Unlicensed contractors must note on the bid envelope that their bid is being submitted under LA R.S. 37:2157, Paragraph (A)(6) of the Louisiana Contractors Law. Specifications and proposal forms are on file in the office of High Tide Consultants, LLC, and a single copy may be obtained by each prospective bidder upon the payment of $100.00 per set (non-refundable) to cover the cost of printing. Contact the Principal-in-Charge for clarification or information with regard to the plans and specifications. A Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held at the location of the project. Attendance at this meeting is required to bid this project. All proposals must be accompanied by bid security in the amount of five (5%) percent of the sum of the base bid and all alternates (if applicable), in the form stated in the Instructions to Bidders included in the Bid Documents for this project. A bid will be considered responsive if it conforms in all respects with the conditions and requirements of the Bid Documents. Strict accordance with LA R.S. 38:2212 and the Bid Documents shall be adhered to and shall not be waived by any entity. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause in accordance with State Bid Law.
