Jackson R-2 School District Middle School Re-Roofing Sealed bids are invited to provide materials for and install a new roof on the Jackson Middle School, located at 1651 West Independence St., Jackson, MO 63755. Instructions to bidders and project specifications will be available upon request by contacting the provided email or picking up materials at the District's Central Office. The scope of work for the Project shall include, but is not limited to, the following: Re-roofing ofthe Jackson Middle School roof Work shall commence no later than May 26, 2026 ; final completion of the entire Work not later than August 14, 2026. Contractor shall complete the project and provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for completion of the project. The scope of work for the project shall consist of reroofing the Jackson Middle School roof, and includes all work necessary and identified in the Jackson R-2 Middle School Re-Roofing Specifications (hereinafter referred to as the "Specifications"), which are incorporated and made part ofthis Agreement by this reference as if ftilly stated herein. The scope ofwork shall be performed in accordance with this Agreement and the Attachments incorporated into this Agreement and attached hereto. The project shall be referred to throughout the remainder of this Agreement as the "Work". All Work under this Agreement shall be done by Contractor in compliance with all applicable local, county, state, and federal laws, codes, ordinances, and regulations, and shall also comply with SMACNA's "Architectural Sheet Metal Manual." Contractor shall be solely responsible for obtaining all necessary building permits, licenses and other documents to perform the Work. Contractor shall pay all governmental charges and inspection fees necessary for the prosecution of the Work which are applicable at the time this Contract is executed unless otherwise indicated in the Specifications. In the event of any inconsistency or conflict between provisions of this Agreement and the provisions of the Specifications or any documents referenced and attached hereto, then at the option ofthe District, the stricter shall prevail and control.
