The Village of Hanover Park, Illinois is soliciting sealed bids for the 2026 Resurfacing Project. Bidders must meet all requirements of the bid documents. Plans, project specifications, and complete bid documents may be obtained from the Village of Hanover Park website. A mandatory in-person pre-bid meeting will be held at Village Hall. Requirements of this contract include: compliance with the Illinois Prevailing Wage, submission of 5% bid security (of the base bid) with the bid submittal, 100% performance bond, adherence to Public Act 30 ILCS 570 regarding employment of Illinois workers on public works projects, and submission of three original copies of the signed contract with the bid. Bidders must also fully comply with requirements and provisions of the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO) Grant #SD250118 and the Illinois Works Apprenticeship Initiative. Prequalification of bidders in accordance with applicable parts of IDOT Bureau of Local Roads and Streets Recurring Special Provision "Bidding Requirements and Conditions for Contract Proposals" (Check Sheet LRS 6) is required for all bidders. The project also includes full and spot curb and gutter repairs, HMA patching, sidewalk repairs, structure repairs, frame adjustments, landscaping, and other appurtenant work.
