Site work and new construction of an office development in Bethune, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the construction of a 250-square-foot office development; and for site work for a office development.
Kershaw County is requesting bids from licensed commercial contractors to build a small office building with a bathroom at the Bethune recycle convenience center, 108 Walton Street, Bethune SC, per the enclosed specifications. The building is approximately 12.5 ft x 20 ft. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, installation and supervision required. All questions must be in writing and directed to Rebecca Dabney at Rebecca.Dabney@kershaw.sc.gov. Questions must be received by January 22, 2026 at 12:00 noon. Contractor must have all materials available for the new building before moving on to the site and will have 60 business days to construct the new building. Contractor is to: Comply with Planning and Zoning requirements for permit and inspections. Disconnect utilities to portable building. County will provide dumpster for building disposal. County will transport dumpster to landfill for disposal. Construct new building on site. Connect and test all new utilities. Turnover building to County. Contractor will have 60 days on-site to accomplish the building.
