The work generally consists of electrical upgrades at 5 parks within the City of San Marcos (San Elijo Park, Civic Center Park, The Laurels Park, Foothills Park, Valley View Park). Bids must be submitted via the PlanetBids online bid management system, and only vendors registered with PlanetBids are eligible to submit a bid. Contractors must possess a California Contractor's license classification C-10 Electrical Contractor at the time of contract award. Each bid must be accompanied by bidder security equal to 10 percent of the bid. Payment of prevailing wages and compliance with the California Labor Code Sections 1770 et seq. are required. Contractors and subcontractors must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations as required by law. All work must be completed to the satisfaction of the Agency in conformance with the Contract Documents.
