Site work for a water / sewer project in San Marcos, California. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project consists of the removal of two 10-inch valves; demolition of water manhole shaft, frame and cover; replacement of one 14-inch valve; installation of one new 18-inch valve, steel cross, reducer, piping and appurtenances; cathodic protection, wiring and test station; highline; condition assessment, access pits; fire watch to meet City of San Marcos Fire Department requirements; dewatering; and other related work as described in the Contract Documents. Bids must be submitted on the provided Bid Forms. Contract Documents are available from the designated portal. The project must be completed within one hundred twenty (120) calendar days from the notice to proceed. The estimated construction cost is $800,000. The District is not required to award the contract to the lowest qualified responsible bidder. Question Deadline 03/11/2026 at 5:00 PM PT Bidders must be registered on the Vallecitos Water District's online portal in order to submit questions and receive addendum notifications.
