Renovation of a detention facility in Stony Mountain, Manitoba. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) intends to engage a General Contractor to provide all labour, materials, equipment, and supervision required for the construction and installation of new fire alarm strobe lights at Correctional Service Canada (CSC) facilities in Manitoba, including multiple buildings at Stony Mountain Institution. The Contractor's scope will include installing strobe devices and associated conduit and wiring, integrating with existing fire alarm systems, making good all affected finishes, and completing testing and/or verification, turnover documentation, and warranty services in accordance with the contract documents. All work must be planned and executed within an active correctional environment, in compliance with security, access, and phasing requirements, and with appropriate procedures for working in areas where hazardous materials may be present.
