Chino Valley Unified School District is soliciting formal bids for Chino Hills High School Stadium Synthetic Turf Replacement under CUPCCAA Bid No. 25-26-11F. Bids must be made and presented only on District forms and received in the Purchasing Department at 13461 Ramona Avenue, Second Floor, Chino, CA 91710. Bid envelopes must clearly indicate the bid number, bid name, and the company's name. Bids will be opened and read aloud via Zoom conference. The Contract Time is 31 calendar days from the date of Notice to Proceed. The project follows the informal bid requirements of the California Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Act (CUPCCAA). All contractors submitting bids must be on the District's current list of approved contractors pursuant to Public Contract Code section 22034. A mandatory job walk will be held at Chino Hills High School, in front of the Administration Building. Only contractors attending the entire mandatory pre-bid conference will be considered responsive. Each bidder must be a licensed contractor per California law and possess a valid and active Class C-61/D-12 or C-27 California State Contractor's License at the time of bid and throughout the contract duration. Subcontractors must also be properly licensed. Each bid must include a list of designated subcontractors as required by law. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any irregularities or informalities in bids or bidding. Substitution of securities for retention is permitted per Public Contract Code section 22300. Each bidder must submit security with its bid in an amount not less than ten percent of the maximum bid, in cash, cashier's check, certified check, or a bid bond. Separate 100% payment and performance bonds are required. Contractors and subcontractors must be registered and qualified to perform public work, pay prevailing wages, and furnish certified payroll records monthly or more frequently if required. Bids may not be withdrawn for 90 days after opening.
