Proposed work includes repairing the roadway and slope with GRS slope restoration and soil nailing, guiderail replacement, E&S measures, and other miscellaneous work. Construction will be completed with a traffic detour. Anticipated Part 1 Staffing Needs: One (1) Transportation Construction Inspector (TCI) day and night work. TCI must have geotechnical construction inspection experience, PennDOT/ACI Certification and ECMS documentation experience. Estimated Project Construction Duration: April 2026 to April 2027. Proposed work includes milling, resurfacing, mechanized edge repair, shoulder backup, line painting and miscellaneous work. Construction is expected to be completed under short-term lane closures. Anticipated Part 2 Staffing Needs: Three (3) Transportation Construction Inspector (TCI), potential for day and night work. TCIs must be NECEPT certified and background in ECMS documentation. Project includes SR 11 Sec P02 over Court Street (117891), SR 11 Sec P03 over Theodore Street (117892), SR 11 Sec P04 over Leach Creek (117893), SR 11 Sec P05 over SR 6307 (117894) and SR 8029 Sec P02 Ramp from Main Ave (117896), in the City of Scranton, Lackawanna County. Proposed project involves bridge preservation and rehabilitation activities to the project structures and miscellaneous work. Traffic control will be completed under short-term and long-term lane closures, temporary signals in multiple phases, potential day and night work. Anticipated Part 3 Staffing Needs: Two (2) Transportation Construction Inspectors (TCI). TCI require bridge rehabilitation and preservation experience, PennDOT/ACI Certification, E&S experience, NECEPT certifications and ECMS documentation experience. Proposed project is structure replacement on SR 3006 (Milwaukee Road) with a single span, spread box beam bridge. Proposed work includes full depth approach pavement replacement, guiderail updates and miscellaneous work. Traffic control will involve a detour. Anticipated Part 4 Staffing Needs: One (1) Transportation Construction Inspector (TCI), potential day and night work. TCI must have bridge construction inspection experience, NECEPT certification, PennDOT/ACI Certifications and ECMS documentation experience. Estimated Project Construction Duration: May 2026 to December 2026. Part 5 Location Description State Route/Section Luzerne County 309/MTM Luzerne County 315/MTM Luzerne County 315/000 Part Name: ECMS # 112874 SR 309/315 Mundy Crossroads Project Description: ECMS # 112874 SR 309 Mundy Crossroads Improvement Partnership. Project includes SR 315 Sec MTM (112874), SR 309 Sec MTM (121082) and SR 2061 Sec 0 (116758) in Wilkes-Barre and Plains Townships, Luzerne County. Proposed project involves roadway and intersection improvements along Kidder Street and Mundy Street including full-depth reconstruction, lane widening, new ramp spur from SR 8045 to Valley Crest Boulevard and modification to SR 8045 ramps for additional capacity. Work includes modifications and upgrades to signalized intersections and PPC overlay to SR 315 bridge over SR 309 and miscellaneous work. Traffic control will involve temporary lane closures. Anticipated Part 5 Staffing Needs: One (1) Transportation Construction Inspector Supervisor (TCIS) and three (3) Transportation Construction Inspectors, potential day and night work. NECEPT certification, signal experience, and ECMS documentation required. Estimated Project Construction Duration: October 2026 to October 2029 with inspector start estimated in March 2027 The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
