Demolition, site work and new construction of a power facility in Fairmont, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the construction of a power facility.
As of April 03, 2026, project was awarded to Hooper Corporation, awarded amount is $3,515,893.35 The scope of work consists of construction of a 69 kV substation, including installation of owner-furnished items such as steel, breakers, GOAB switches, lightning arresters, and PTs. Work includes fencing, concrete work, bus work, conduit, grounding, and control cable associated with the new equipment. Transmission line work involves removal of existing poles and conductor and installation of owner-furnished items including poles and associated material. Distribution work includes ductbank, conduit, manholes, and installation of owner-furnished items including cable and box pads. Bidders are to obtain bidding documents from www.questcdn.com or from the office of the Engineer, DGR Engineering, for a fee. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents.
