Sealed proposals are requested for "Linden Public School District Myles J. McManus Middle School Cafeteria HVAC Upgrades." Bids must be submitted using the standard proposal form provided, in sealed opaque envelopes marked with the project name and bidder's information. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to ten percent of the total bid amount as a commitment to execute the contract if awarded. Certification of bonding company is required. Bidders must agree to hold their bid price for sixty days after the formal bid opening. All relevant statutes and regulations must be followed, including qualifications by the Department of the Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction, and proper registration with the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development. Specific DPMC classifications required for bidders and subcontractors are listed. Prequalification forms, ownership disclosure, and business registration certificates must be submitted as specified. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive minor informalities, and award the contract to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder.
