All bidders must use and complete all bid forms and comply with every requirement in the instructions and specifications. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked with the project name, "CONTRACT 73 - ROOFTOP HVAC UPGRADES AT BRIARWOOD ELEMENTARY SCHOOL," and the bidder's name and address. Bidders and their subcontractors must be registered with the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development and include proof of registration and a New Jersey Business Registration Certificate for themselves and all subcontractors. Bids must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond for not less than ten percent of the bid amount (not to exceed $20,000). Bidders must comply with state requirements regarding discrimination and affirmative action. The project is part-funded by grant monies from the New Jersey Schools Development Authority and is subject to grant agreement terms. No bids may be withdrawn for sixty days after the opening, and the board reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive informality if in the Board of Education's best interest.
