Project Kitchen Renovation Emery House Cottage 9, Taunton State Hospital, 60 Hodges Avenue, Taunton, MA 01581. Complete renovation of the existing kitchen located on the first floor at Emery House Taunton State Hospital. Selective demolition as indicated on plans, installation of new cabinets, flooring, wall tile, and plumbing fixtures, lighting and modernization of the electrical and plumbing systems. Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. All General bid questions must be uploaded on COMMBUYS by Tuesday 02/11/2026 12:00 PM. The Work comprises the completed construction required by the Contract Documents and includes all labor, tools, materials, supplies, equipment, permits, approvals, paperwork, calculations, submittals, and certificates necessary to develop, construct and complete the Work in accordance with all Laws, and all construction and other services required to be supervised, overseen, performed or furnished by Contractor or that the Contract Documents require the Contractor to cause to be supervised, overseen, performed or furnished. The Contractor shall provide and perform for the Contract Price all of the duties and obligations set forth in the Contract Documents. A. The scope of work under this Section, without limiting the generality thereof, for performing the following miscellaneous work: 1. Furnish and install new cabinetry and necessary finish hardware. 2. Furnish and install new countertops and backsplashes. B. Related Work: The following items are not included in this section and will be performed under the designated Sections: 1. Section 02050 - SELECTIVE DEMOLITION and disposal of all the existing countertops, base, and wall cabinets. Additional demolition work will require the removal of the existing appliances and safely storing them on the property until they are ready for reinstallation. 2. Section 15401 - PLUMBING for the installation of the new stainless-steel sinks, faucets, and garbage disposals.
