The City of Gulfport seeks to procure a consulting engineering firm to provide engineering services for The Soria City Streetscapes Improvement Plan and potentially other similar projects. The scope of services includes, but is not limited to, surveying, development of construction plans and specifications, preparation of easements/right-of-way maps and deeds, environmental related services, bidding phase services, construction engineering, and inspection services. The project will consist of streetscape improvements, which may include removal and installation of sidewalks, curb and gutter, street paving, street lighting, landscaping, signage, and other streetscape ideas. Proposals must include three submissions (one original, one copy, and one electronic version) and should address the criteria listed in the RFP packet. The City will evaluate proposals based on experience, qualifications, capacity, and time for completion. The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or discontinue contract execution at any time prior to final contract execution. The selected consultant(s)/firm(s) will provide professional engineering services for CDBG eligible Public Facilities projects. Scope services includes, but is not limited to, surveying, development of construction plans/specifications, preparation of easements/right-of-way maps and deeds for purchases, environmental related services, bidding phase services, construction engineering, and inspection services. The project plan shall consist of streetscape improvements including removal/installation of sidewalks, removal/ installation of curb and gutter, street paving, street lighting, landscaping, signage, and other streetscape ideas.
