**As of March 23rd 2026, the project was awarded to Seacoast Construction Inc, with an awarded amount of $2,049, 526.33** The project generally consists of the removal and replacement of sidewalks and ADA curb ramps along Chestnut Street from First Avenue to Fourth Avenue, and from Jasper Street to William Street. The work also includes but is not limited to milling and paving of connecting streets, the installation of proposed streetscape amenities, landscaping, and related work within the Borough of Roselle, and any other associated work as contained in the Contract Documents or as ordered by the Engineer. Bidders must submit proposals and contract documents in sealed envelopes bearing the name and address of the bidder and the name of the work. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or cash in the amount of not less than ten (10%) percent of the Bid, but not more than $20,000.00, as a guarantee. A bid bond may be substituted. Each bid must include a certificate from a bonding company licensed in New Jersey. Bidders must be registered with the New Jersey Department of Labor and submit proof of business registration. The successful bidder is required to comply with the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act and all applicable safety and equal opportunity laws.
