Demolition for a medical facility in Mexico, Missouri. Completed plans call for the demolition of a medical facility.
Work shall include all labor, equipment, and material necessary to demolish, haul away debris, and restore the area to a 'build-ready' state as defined in the bidding documents. All equipment, materials, and workmanship must be in accordance with the drawings and specifications on file with the City of Mexico's Public Works Department. A certified or cashier's check or a bid bond in the amount of 5% shall be submitted with each proposal. The bidder must be registered as a Plan Holder with the Public Works Department and have attended the pre-bid meeting. Bidders shall provide a ten-hour Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) construction safety program for their on-site employees within 60 days of award of the contract. Missouri Department of Labor Standards regarding payment of Prevailing Wage Rates shall be followed for all projects. The contract, if awarded, will be awarded to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder complying with the Conditions of the Contract Documents within the Owner's budget. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in bids received whenever such rejection or waiver is in their interest. Question Deadline 02/20/2026 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to the Public Works Department. Questions received less than 3 days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
