Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) will accept sealed bids for the Knights Road End of Line Facility Third Party General Construction Contract. Bids must be submitted through SEPTA’s Electronic Procurement System (ePS). Mailed or hand-delivered bids will be rejected. Bids are to be opened electronically on the scheduled date and time. Each bid submitted must remain firm for at least ninety days from the date of the Bid Opening and may not be withdrawn in whole or in part during that time. The bidder certifies that the bid price is held firm for that time and any extension thereof. SEPTA reserves the right to reject any and all bids, as determined to be in its best interest. Attendance at the Bid Opening is not mandatory. The project is subject to and must comply with the PA Steel Products Act and the Buy America Act, and all bidders are required to comply with these Acts and account for them in their bid. Contractors must comply with all applicable Equal Employment Opportunity laws and regulations and certify compliance with Executive Order 12549 (ineligible contractors). The contract is subject to a financial assistance contract between SEPTA and the U.S. Department of Transportation. Disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, sex, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
