Professional services are solicited for housing rehabilitation inspection services in Orange County, Indiana, in conjunction with OCRA Community Development Block Grant funds. Inspection services by a licensed home inspector are needed for owner-occupied housing rehabilitation projects. The project will address roofs, ADA accessibility to entry, HVAC, electrical upgrades, and water heater replacement. Services include detailed property inspections of these eligible activities, developing work item-specific rehabilitation specifications, and conducting final inspections for approximately 30 housing units. Proposals must allow for both initial and final inspection services. Inspections and reports must meet all applicable Federal, State, and Local regulations, including specific federal regulations and requirements, and follow the current Indiana Residential Code. The report must include pictures of the eligible activities for both initial and final inspections. Proposals should provide a per hour charge for any additional work not previously mentioned.
