As of February 25, 2026, per the owner, this project is in the design phase. A timeline for bidding and construction has not been determined. ..................................... The Barbour County Board of Education is seeking Expressions of Interest from qualified design professionals to provide Architectural/Engineering Services, including design and construction phase administration, for the Middle School / High School Consolidation project. The qualifying firm should also be available to fulfill the following needs: (1) any emergency projects due to water, fire, and weather; (2) as funds become available for non-SBA-funded work, provisions for architectural and engineering services toward building and ground renovation, additions, and upgrades; (3) if future SBA funds become available to augment or supplement the Life Skills classroom project, the services of the qualifying firm will be needed. This commitment may be renewed upon mutual agreement for up to two years, in accordance with WVDE policy 8200. Qualified firms are invited to contact the Facilities Director to obtain a copy of the Statement of Qualifications and submission requirements for the consolidation project. A Statement of Qualifications must be received by the specified deadline.
