The Engineer's Opinion of Probable Cost for Construction (Engineers Estimate) is: $2,166,525.31 The Engineer's Opinion of Probable Cost for the Alternate Construction (Engineer's Estimate) is: $2,415,331.06 The work to be performed consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, tools, materials, and incidentals required for the complete removal and replacement of approximately 3,648 linear feet of existing 24-foot and 26-foot wide asphalt street pavement. This includes the removal of 6,825 linear feet of concrete curb and installing 6,860 linear feet of new concrete curb, full-depth asphalt removal and replacement at 15-inches thick, and installation of approximately 6,866 linear feet of new 8-inch underdrain. The project also includes removing and replacing 84 residential driveway aprons, removing and replacing approximately 631 linear feet of 12-inch storm sewer, 1,269 linear feet of 15-inch storm sewer, 843 linear feet of 18-inch storm sewer, 98 linear feet of 21-inch storm sewer, 5 linear feet of 24-inch storm sewer, 45 linear feet of 30-inch storm sewer, 23 street catch basins, and 13 storm sewer manholes. An alternate includes 4,489 linear feet of 5-foot wide concrete sidewalk and 12 ADA concrete curb ramps. Bidders must include the Bid Form and entire Contract Document booklet, along with any addenda, with their bid. All bidding documents must be obtained from the office of the Village Engineer; duplicates will be considered unacceptable. Each bidder must furnish a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond according to Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code, issued by a Surety Company licensed in Ohio. Proposals must contain the full name of all parties submitting and interested in the proposal, and bidders must provide evidence of experience on similar projects. The project is to be completed within 180 days after the Notice to Proceed. Compliance with State of Ohio prevailing wage rates is required for public improvements in Summit County and Northfield, Ohio.
